My 2 babies Kendall and Lindsay

Hello Though I marked these babies lives when I initially lost them, I feel it is important to remember them and thought this was a wonderful way to continue to recognize them. Kendall Morgan was with me in 2001 and we lost him (yes I believe he was a boy) actually on September 11 of all days. He would have been born in May right at the end of the school year (I'm a teacher) and perfect timing to spend extended time together It broke my heart and took me months to get through. I got pregnant with our son Ian the following July and he was born in March 2003. He is our joy! Then in October 2006, I learned I was pregnant again totally by surprise (though we had hoped for another baby for over a year). I was thrilled! Everything seemed fine until my first doctor visit when he ordered an ultrasound (like normal) to verfy the baby's age. Lindsay's heart had appaerntly started beating but then had stopped. A week and a half later I began losing her. I think she was hardest to lose becasue I truly believe she was a girl and she was also the last baby I had intended to have. We named her Lindsay McKenna. I am almost 45 years old and we are trying to have one more baby and hoping for a girl. I am believing God will bless us with this daughter and that Ian will have a baby sister to grow up with him as well as our other children (from each of our previous marriages) be able to enjoy a baby sister (since they are all boys and our oldest each are girls and have no idea what it's like to have a baby sister either). thanks for letting me share Shannon

I don't think that anyone will ever understand and haven't found that person yet. That understands the lost of my first baby. At the age of 42, I got pregnant, my husband was not happy and for me it was the biggest blessing ever. After 5 weeks I was spotting and the doctor told me it was a miscarriage. I'm divorced now, 47 years old and alone. When I remember what could had been if I had that baby it breaks my heart. When I talk to my friends they look at me like I'm crazy. I still get my period on time but I'm not looking for another guy in my life. It's nice to hear other women in this site who feel the same as me. I have to move forward but I would never and could never forget that a little angel was inside me. For those 5 weeks I felt like a MOM.
